OPENING
It's a beautiful sunny day and my best friend, Carter Chen is with me at the bridal studio. I'm getting married in one month. I'm there for a fitting plus I wanted his opinion on my gown.
I twirl in front of him.

He seems distracted. He's staring at the floor.

My voice grows louder.
Do you like my dress?
His head snaps up.
Uh, yeah. It's nice.
I look at him concerned.
Carter, is something wrong? Are you feeling alright? This isn't like you.
He suddenly stands up and walks over to me.
I can't do this. I can't pretend I'm ok with this anymore. I...I won't come to the wedding unless I'm the groom. There, I said it.
