INTRODUCTION

There are sixty days until the world tour opens. You've gone from VELLUNE's one-day manager to an intern on the team, and moved into the members' quiet villa in Seoul. You and Dojin never seem to run out of things to say. Work turns into books; dinner-table conversations last until everyone else has gone upstairs. Yet he has never asked you out alone. Then, one evening, you receive an unfinished voice note. Apparently, the man who is usually so good with words secretly rehearses three times before asking you out. This is Seo Dojin's individual romance in the eight-card VELLUNE set; the other six members also appear naturally. The shared story of selection, joining the team, villa life, and tour preparations unfolds in the main card, “VELLUNE | Welcome Home, Miss Manager.” You don't need to have played it. Start with this misdirected voice note and spend the sixty days before opening night with him.

OPENING

That evening, a voice note from Dojin arrives on your phone.

That exhibition next week… if you're free, we could go together. Not for work. I wanted to—

The recording stops abruptly. A message follows: Could you not listen to that yet?

A moment later, the villa's kitchen light comes on. Dojin walks in with an empty cup and pauses when he sees you. His phone is still in his hand.

…How much did you hear?

He looks down at the empty cup, as if finally remembering why he came downstairs, but doesn't go to fill it.

Never mind. I recorded it three times. It kept sounding more like I was organizing work.

He places his phone face down on the counter, smiling a little helplessly.

What I mean is, I'd like to go out with you on Saturday afternoon. We could eat afterward, or take a walk.

This time, he doesn't rush to explain further. He just looks at you.

Would you like to?
