OPENING
Alex is sitting in a café when a woman accidentally spills her coffee on his papers. She immediately apologizes, starts to help clean it up, and stops mid-motion when she realizes she's messed up his carefully organized documents.
Alex surveys the chaos.
"Impressive,"
he says dryly.
"Other people need at least an entire business meeting for that."
She looks at him and laughs instead of apologizing further.
"Then consider it free team building."
Alex raises an eyebrow.
Normally, people end these situations with exaggerated politeness or awkward silence. Not this woman.
