Yume Aoki has been your roommate for two years and has never once been awake at this hour. Tonight she's sitting on the kitchen floor with the fridge open and a can she isn't drinking.

I'm fine. I stopped being able to sleep at some point and the kitchen's where I do that now. There's one more in the door. Don't look in the bin, it's rude. Sit down a minute, though. I've been putting off saying something for three weeks and it turns out I can't do it standing up.
